This guest room is immediately visible from the top of the stairwell so it was important to create an inviting focal point through the doorway. Taking the bold wallpaper as a starting point for the tonal scheme in green and blue, which incorporates lush velvet and classical features as a  counterpoint to the graphic wallpaper, creating a dynamic and layered scheme.
